Alas, Poor Kodak…

Although I rarely made photos using it, I mourned the passing of Kodachrome. It’s my attempt at mashing-up art and social science research to document and artistically explore the models’ motivations and cultural attitudes and to provide a primer on modern art theories as they pertain to the female art nude in photography.

A Shallow Dunescape

One of the things that’s always compelled me about the nude is the idea of the body as landscape, or, in this case, dunescape.

I was thrilled to be able to find a set-up that let me dial in a minimal DoF. It’s not quite the f/1.2 that I was really hoping for, but it’s close-enough for government work.
